Working in our award winning in-house creative team, V Creative, this role will be tasked with helping out our busy production team on the release of our first ever global subscription service, Paramount+

What will you be doing?

  • To support and assist the production of creative content within the department at all stages in the of the production process, from pitching to delivery
  • Ensure all budget, schedule and creative requirements are met across all projects
  • From assisting with booking voiceovers, audio sessions to ensuring all administrative tasks are completed on time, this role is incredibly varied and requires strong multi-tasking abilities
  • A crucial role securing content globally to ensure creative have correct specs to be able to edit and work with in timely manner
  • The Production Assistant will also work closely and support the Production Managers with all day to day tasks, requests and general running of the P+ production workflow

Content and Data Sourcing & Management

  • You will source and manage content for creative team to edit with: sourcing and liaising with production companies and global depts to secure the content in time for edit schedules
  • You will collate and communicate any legal restrictions or requirements as part of content sourcing to HOP and creatives
  • You will ensure any sign off on content is flagged as part of edit schedules
  • You will oversee the shared content drive, managing content and archiving all projects

Production Support

  • Assist the Production Managers with organising the creative edit schedules and production workflow and ensure delivery deadlines are met.
  • Ensure all projects are produced in cost- and time-effective manner while adhering to the creative ideals, negotiating fees and maintaining schedules where necessary.
  • Flag any project overage to Production Managers and/or Head of Production.
  • Assist with booking all external post sessions and (including daily audio bookings).
  • Liaise daily with Voice Over artist agencies to book relevant talent for sessions ensuring the correct clearances are agreed.
  • To help maintain the departmental edit schedules and calendars.
  • Assemble and ensure creative teams have most up to date lists of deliverables
  • To help in monitoring and ensuring all promos/design are delivered according to lists of deliverables
  • A key liaison point between UK and the rest of the markets, helping to field all production enquiries and requests and ensuring material is delivered on time and in the correct format


  • Raising Purchase Order requisitions relevant to music clearances, post production sessions, agencies fees, shoot production, voiceovers.
  • Setting up all new suppliers, under the guidance of the Production Manager
  • Setting up all new freelancers, under the guidance of the Production Manager
  • To ensure correct invoicing guidelines and deadlines are adhered to by suppliers and freelancers.
  • Maintain and update records of production activity and spend, departmental filing and Excel records.

  • To work with accounts payable to ensure all external suppliers, freelancers and casual employees are paid correctly and on time. Assist suppliers with invoicing queries


  • Ensure all content sourced has clear legal guidelines and clearances attached and communicate back to the team ensuring sign offs are part of the edit schedule
  • Liaise with the legal teams to ensure all contracts, NDA’s, payments are up to date. Be aware of changes to accounts payable processes.
  • Following appropriate training, to have knowledge of different freelancer/casual contract types and payment terms and employ as appropriate.
  • Assisting with raising all contracts and ensuring completed contracts are returned and returned to legal.
  • Update contract log, contact files and freelance contract file.
  • Ensure relevant legal paperwork completed for all bookings and v/o.

What are we looking for?

  • Some experience in production, preferably in broadcast creative environment
  • Strong administration and organisational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience of keeping accurate budgetary records/cost managers, reconciling budgets and using purchasing systems/raising PO desirable.
  • Ability to produce a project schedule desirable
