Overview: Experienced, senior-level Director of Talent that will own day-to-day management of the full cast of Smosh, as well as continuously source, vet, and identify an ongoing list of potential talent to work with SMOSH. Additionally, this position will act as a regular day to day manager of the current and future members of the part time and full time “Cast”. This position reports directly to the President of the company. 


  • Create and maintain an “always on” casting calendar and process that consistently allows for sourcing, scouting, and identifying new potential talent that can be utilized across the entire brand, in any facet
  • Create and maintain regular relationships with a multitude of creators in the entire digital landscape
  • Work with the creative heads and leads of the company to break down a list of wants and needs in identifying talent across all programming
  • Act as the regular liaison between the current talent, future talent, and production/executive teams
  • Develop curriculums and growth opportunities with each individual member of the cast
  • Regularly manage the needs and goals of the current talent, as well as communicating the expectations and goals of each of the individuals, as set by the executive leadership
  • Coordinate, attend, and manage all talent-based marketing events and meet-ups
  • Collaborate closely with executive leadership when developing new and unique talent partnerships
  • Regularly communicate with all talent when it comes to branded activations, track and log all incoming and extracurricular talent requests
  • Conduct regular 1:1 meetings with each member of the cast, as well as each creative stakeholder of the company 


  • At least 4 years experience working in talent coordination/talent management in the entertainment industry
  • At least 2 years experience in people management
  • Experience in diverse formats: commercials, animation, scripted, variety, reality, documentary, photoshoots, digital, social media, music performance, music video
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while remaining highly organized and detail-oriented 
  • Excellent work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
