The Production Assistant will provide support to the Production department on event days and will interact with management, stagehands, and tour personnel. This position will provide additional administrative support as needed.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Event support to the Production Department on load-ins, show days, and load-outs.
  • Provide administrative support.
  • Look for safety hazards during load-in (cable runs on floor, cross aisle, hardhats, etc.).
  • Provide support to Production department by overseeing outdoor stages, festivals, press conferences and city events under supervision and guidance of the Director.
  • Take employee accident reports as necessary.
  • Able to work days, evenings, overnight, weekends and holiday shifts as needed.
  • Perform other related production duties as assigned.

  • Must have 1-2 years of Production work or experience in a large venue setting.
  • Experience with theatrical lighting, audio, video equipment and/or Autocad a plus.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn required business systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Enthusiastic and willing to learn.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work well as a member of a team and meet specified deadlines.
  • Must have the ability to work independently, when necessary, and use sound business judgment.
