Desirable Qualifications

  • Having previously worked as a motion picture/TV Line Producer, Unit Production Manager or Production Supervisor for several years
  • Demonstrates a commitment to performing duties in a service-oriented manner

  • Maintains good work habits; adheres to all policies and procedures 
  • Ability to analyze situations accurately and take effective action
  • Maintain good attendance, dependability and flexibility

Knowledge of:

  • Expertise in Movie Magic Budgeting & Scheduling and other industry-standard budgeting software programs
  • Expertise in MS Excel including the formatting and creation of mathematical formulas; high proficiency with other MS Office applications such as Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Payroll and union fringe benefits; customary cost estimates for personnel and goods in the film industry
  • Complex math computations, including fractions and percentages; statistical analysis
  • Expertise in film and TV budgets, scripts, synopses and shooting schedules
  • Expertise in the motion picture production process, including pre-production, principal photography and post-production
  • Methods, processes and techniques of video editing
  • Experience in production accounting and/or finance

  • Analyze data and present ideas and information effectively both orally and in writing, and use a wide variety of reference materials
  • Coordinate the work of others; work cooperatively in a team
