The Coordinator, Communications will handle administrative duties and assist in supporting the series publicity team on day-to-day activities of campaigns as well as supporting the VP of Communications for the Universal Studio Group division. This position is based in the Universal City, CA offices.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Function as administrative liaison to departmental staff, external vendors and consultants
  • Answer telephones and perform administrative duties such as calendar scheduling, booking travel, drafting itineraries, processing invoices, preparing expense reports, reconciling p-cards, among others
  • Maintain/update press contact database and additional internal lists
  • Prepare internal and external distributions and correspondence
  • Maintain/update our press site, Media Village
  • Helps with the onboarding process for any new members of the Communications team
  • Prepare programming team calendars
  • Support Communications team on series campaigns as needed
  • Assist with talent relations needs including booking travel, booking hair/make-up, drafting itineraries, internal and external gifting, amongst others
  • Maintain standards of strict confidentiality with respect to all matters and documents
  • Maintain series team budget tracker
  • Assist publicists with tracking press coverage and maintaining show press reports
