THE ROLE: Senior Accountant, Corporate Accounting
Accounting Responsibilities:

  • Support departmental actual and forecasted expenses across various business lines
  • Post journal entries to the general ledger to record monthly accruals and adjustments. Review accrual submissions from operational managers and ensure general ledger coding and amounts are supportable.
  • Responsible for proper and timely accounting close in accordance with US GAAP
  • Process invoices for various departments and provide general ledger coding
  • Calculate expense allocations to various business areas of the company
  • Prepare monthly financial reporting schedules and supporting documents for monthly controller and CFO meetings
  • Perform monthly and quarterly balance sheet analysis and reconciliations
  • Provide accounting training as needed to operational managers or new employees
  • Conduct regular review meetings with finance and operational personnel regarding budgets / forecasts and variances between actual expenses and budgeted / forecasted expenses
  • Compile information for audit as needed
  • Perform ad-hoc analytics as requested by Senior Manager; provide support as needed to Senior Manager and/or Director, Corporate Accounting
  • Roll forward all monthly, quarterly, or annual schedules for Senior Manager’s review

Fixed Assets Responsibilities:

  • Process monthly activity related to fixed asset acquisitions, disposals and reclasses
  • Post monthly depreciation expense entries to the general ledger. Ensure that gross assets, accumulated depreciation, and depreciation expense are correctly stated and reconciled in the general ledger and sub-ledger
  • Maintain up-to-date procedures documenting all types of entries, adjustments and processes done in the Fixed Asset Sub-ledger
  • Conduct regular review meetings with the finance personnel for Depreciation and Amortization
  • Compile information for audit as requested


  • B.S. in Accounting
  • Advanced Excel + Word skills
  • Accounting Experience (5-7 years)
  • Must be able to work independently, efficiently and meet deadlines under strict time constraints
  • Must possess strong oral and written communication / interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and extremely organized
  • Strong work ethic and professionalism- must be able to handle confidential information


  • CPA
  • SAP General ledger / SAP Budget and Consolidation systems experience or financial system experience
  • Fixed Asset experience
