Your New Role
The Y16 will work with Editorial services helping editors. Sound editors and mixers and manager. Move physical elements between building 133 and 38. Physical masters, hard drives and Tape stock. Write work orders and check them for billing. Barcode and label LTO backups. Notify I/O when files are ready to be pushed or need to be downloaded. Work with creative team to finish project on time and on budget.
Your Role Accountabilities
- Work with creative team moving elements and coordinating new elements.
- Write work orders and check billing status in Media pulse
- Prepare barcode and labels for new and finished material.
- Coordinate with MPI I/O scheduling and receiving data from and to our client base.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors’ degree preferred but not required; previous experience in a post-production facility environment is mandatory.
- 1 or more years of experience in post-production as post supervisor, associate producer, or customer service representative, or as an in-house post producer at a facility
- Excellent understanding of the post-production process.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; must be able to interface with in house staff and external clients at all levels.
- Sound business judgment and integrity with emphasis on maintaining a balance between the client needs and the overall functioning of the facility.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
- Strong organizational and follow through skills with demonstrated ability to handle and to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
- Detail oriented
- Experience with scheduling software such as Xytech MediaPulse or ScheduAll, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word
- Technical and operational understanding of SDR and HDR workflows.
