The Assistant to EVP, Narrative Film will support the overall vision, mission and mandates of the company and be responsible for providing high-level administrative support within the day-to-day needs of the EVP, Narrative Film.
Responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day operations of the EVP, Narrative Film:
- Aid in time management
- Act as gatekeeper for all incoming traffic including calls, meetings, and requests
- Manage a heavy schedule, prioritize internal and external meetings including maintaining call sheets for incoming and outgoing calls
- Provide credits and background materials in preparation for meetings
- Maintain ongoing follow-up, action item lists, and all contacts up to date
- Take calls, meeting notes, and for select meetings, create agendas, and prep materials
- Prepare outgoing correspondence including emails and submissions letters
- Manage electronic paperwork – e.g., file documents and scripts
- Relay relevant company information and invitations in an appropriate and timely matter
- Coordinate domestic/international travel arrangements
- Collect receipts for the purposes of submitting expense reports
- Coordinate select Narrative Films internal group meetings
- Manage submissions, coordinate responses and delegate reads internally
- Ensure EVP, Narrative Films’ business relationships are managed smoothly
- Work with the other internal assistants on select departmental agendas and tasks
- Other duties / special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of film industry experience
- Agency experience is a plus
- Knowledge of film industry landscape and players
