  • Newsroom experience in digital, print, or broadcast is required.
  • Experience fact-checking scripts, articles, or broadcast stories is helpful.
  • Ability to work under tight deadline pressure.
  • Proven ability to write compelling, accurate, thoughtful news copy, including articles, for multiple 
  • digital platforms.
  • A willingness to work flexible hours as the production schedule dictates.
  • Proficient in crafting headlines for web videos.
  • Experience scripting and producing content for web-based or linear outlets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects with varying deadlines.
  • A passion for news.
  • Experience conducting recorded interviews where only the subject is seen or heard.
