UCB is looking for a highly motivated, collaborative, and detail-oriented full-time Video Production Manager with an excellent understanding of comedic storytelling, cinematography, and post-production to evolve and oversee various video livestreaming, production, and integrated media workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the Artistic Direction team and event producers to assess, confirm and facilitate technical specifications and budgets for video services.
- Responsible for the overall design and specification of video systems for all events requiring video services.
- Provide Artistic Directors, event producers, and on-site event staff with clear technical documents for each event to ensure that the proper quality of service is met on all video jobs.
- Coordinate with Artistic Directors to advance all content needs with the external production teams.
- Anticipate and respond to needs and requests from Artistic Directors, show producers, and UCB clients.
- Supervise additional technical staff during video production.
- Ensure delivery of all video projects and assets are on schedule.
- Identify best practices for video services and evolve daily operations as necessary.
- Oversee video collection and storage to ensure all media is archived appropriately and can be readily obtained.
- Manage video equipment and gear inventory.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of live video production, broadcast, and streaming experience (theatrical, comedy, musical, special events), ideally with some experience in a people managerial role.
- Experience with and strong knowledge of streaming video, video formats, encoding and delivery methods
- Familiarity with video streaming service KPIs, Multi-output systems design, including feeding a combination of projection, livestreaming, LED and/or TV, and video-on-demand destinations
- Advanced skills in video switching and signal distribution equipment
- Professional video post-production skills (Premiere, After Effects)
