  1. INTRODUCTION

    Crewvie.com, on behalf of Renegade gUrls, LLC (“Company” or “we”), wants you to be familiar with how we collect, use, and disclose information from and about you. This Privacy Policy describes our practices in connection with information collected through services such as websites, mobile sites, applications (“apps”), and widgets (collectively, the “Company Services”). By using the Company Services, you agree to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy.

    This Privacy Policy applies to all users, including both those who use the Company Services without being registered with or subscribing to a Company Service and those who have registered with or subscribed to a Company Service. This Privacy Policy applies to the Company’s collection and use of your personal information (i.e., information that identifies a specific person, such as full name or email address). It also describes, generally, the Company’s practices for handling non-personal information (for example, interests, demographics, and services usage).

  3. COLLECTION OF INFORMATION

    The purpose of the Company Services is to permit the public display of information collected to facilitate the vetting and hiring of individuals and vendors.

    We rely on a number of legal bases to process the information we receive about you from your use of the Company Services, including where: (1) you have consented to the processing; (2) the processing is necessary in order to provide the Company Services to you to and perform any necessary contractual obligations, including those of our Terms of Use; (3) necessary to comply with a legal obligation, a court order, or to exercise or defend legal claims; (4) necessary to protect your vital interests or those of others; (5) necessary in the public interest; (6) necessary for the purposes of our or a third party’s legitimate interests, such as those of visitors, users, or partners; and (7) you have expressly made the information public.

    Where we process your information on the basis of consent, we will clearly obtain your opt-in consent. Where given, you may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at privacy@crewvie.com. Where we process your information on the basis of legitimate interests, we do so where the processing is necessary to provide the function or service requested and in accordance with the stated legitimate interests, unless there is a good reason to protect your personal data which overrides those legitimate interests.

    The types of information the Company may collect about you include:

    Information You Provide to Us: We process information you provide to us on the legal basis of the Company’s legitimate interest in performing the function or service you requested. You may refuse to supply any of the following information, however, it may prevent you from accessing certain Company Services and features.

    You may register for an account. We do not require you to register to use the Company Services, however, if you do register, you will gain access to those areas and features of the Company Services that require registration. The Company will collect certain information about you in connection with your registration, which may include personal data such as information regarding your email address, current location, demographic data, and other information you may provide such as username and password.

    If you subscribe to our mailing list or email us, we may keep your message, email address, and contact information to respond to your requests, provide the requested Company Services, and to provide notifications or other correspondences to you. If you supply us with your postal address on-line, you may receive periodic mailings from us with information on new products and services or upcoming events.

    You may provide information to us via support requests submitted through the Company Services. We will use this information to assist you with your support request and may maintain this information to assist you or other users with support requests. Please do not submit any information to us via a support submission, including confidential or sensitive information that you do not wish the Company or its affiliates to have access to or use in the future.

    We may us forms to request certain information from you on the Company Services, such as contact information to assist with contacts or service requests. This information may include personal data.

    Public Information and Posts. Public Information and Posts consist of profile information, including, but not limited to, name, city, country, thumbnail, experience, or content and information that you post to the Company Services along with any information that accompanies those posts or content, including information about you.

    Public Information and Posts are always public, which means they are available to everyone and may be displayed in search results on external search engines.

    Information from Social Media. If you access or log-in to a Company Service through a social media service or connect a Company Service to a social media service, the information we collect may also include your user ID and/or user name associated with that social media service, any information or content you have permitted the social media service to share with us, such as your profile picture, email address, or friends lists, and any information you have made public in connection with that social media service. When you access the Company Services through social media services, or when you connect a Company Service to social media services, you are authorizing Company to collect, store, and use such information and content in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

    Activity Information. When you access and/or interact with the Company Services, the Company and its Service Providers (as defined below) may collect certain information about those visits. For example, in order to permit your connection to the Company Services, our servers may receive and record information about your computer, device, and browser, including potentially your IP address, browser type, and other software or hardware information. If you access the Company Services from a mobile or other device, we may collect a unique device identifier assigned to that device, geolocation data, or other transactional information for that device. We process this information on the basis of our legitimate interests in protecting the Company Services and providing the Company Services to you.

    Cookies and other tracking technologies (such as browser cookies, pixels, beacons, and Adobe Flash technology including cookies) are comprised of small bits of data that often include a de-identified or anonymous unique identifier. The Company’s websites, apps, and other services send this data to your browser when you first request a web page and then store the data on your computer or other data device so the website or app can access information when you make subsequent requests for pages from that service. These technologies may also be used to collect and store information about your usage of the Company Services, such as pages you have visited, the video and other content you have viewed, search queries you have run, and advertisements you have seen and/or interacted with.

    Third parties that support the Company Services by serving advertisements or providing services, such as allowing you to share content or tracking aggregate Company Services usage statistics, may also use these technologies to collect similar information. The Company does not control these third-party technologies and their use is governed by the privacy policies of third parties using such technologies.     Most browsers are initially set to accept cookies, but you can change your settings to notify you when a cookie is being set or updated, or to block cookies altogether. Please note that by blocking any or all cookies you may not have access to certain features, content, or personalization available through the Company Services.

    Information from Other Sources. We may supplement the information we collect about you with information from other sources, such as publicly available information from social media services, commercially available sources, and information from our Company Affiliates or business partners.

    Do Not Track Signals. At this time we do not respond to browser ‘Do Not Track’ signals sent by web browsers, mobile devices, or other mechanisms. Per industry standards, third parties may be able to collect information, including personal data, about your online activities over time and across different websites or online services when you use the Company Services.     We use the information we collect from and about you to provide the Company Services and features to you, including: to measure and improve those Company Services and features; to improve your experience with both online and off-line Company Services by delivering content you will find relevant and interesting, including advertising and marketing messages; to allow you to comment on content and participate in online games, contests, or rewards programs; to provide you with customer support; and to respond to inquiries.

    We generally process personal data received about you through the Company Services on the legal basis of the Company’s legitimate interests where such processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the Company or by our Service Providers (as defined below) related to the Company Services. Where appropriate, we may rely on alternate legal bases, such as your consent to certain types of processing.

    The Company will generally use your information in the following circumstances on the legal basis of legitimate interests to provide the Company Services requested:

    To allow Service Providers to assist us in providing and managing the Company Services. The Company may make your information available to certain third-party service providers, such as contractors, agents, or sponsors who help us manage or provide the Company Services (collectively, the “Service Providers”). These service providers may not use personal information for any purpose other than the specific service they are providing to you and the Company.

    We share personal information with our Service Providers on the legal basis of the Company’s legitimate interests in providing you with the Company Services. Our engagement of Service Providers is often necessary for us to provide the Company Services to you, particularly where such companies play important roles like helping us keep our Company Services operating and secure. In some other cases, these service providers aren’t strictly necessary for us to provide the Company Services, but help us make it better, like by helping us conduct research into how we could better serve our users. In these latter cases, we have a legitimate interest in working with Service Providers to make our Company Services better.

    To allow social sharing functionality. If you log in with or connect a social media service account with the Company Services, we may share your user name, picture, and likes, as well as your activities and consents with other Company Services users and with your friends associated with your social media service. We may also share the same information with the social media service provider. By logging in with or connecting your Company Services account with a social media service, you are authorizing us to share information we collect from and about you with the social media service provider, other users, and your friends, and you understand that the social media service’s use of the shared information will be governed by the social media service’s privacy policy. If you do not want your personal information shared in this way, please do not connect your social media service account with your Company Services account and do not participate in social sharing on the Company Services.

    To provide co-branded services and features. We may offer co-branded services and/or features, such as contests, sweepstakes, or other promotions together with a third party (“Co-Branded Services”). These Co-Branded Services may be hosted on Company Services or on the third party’s service. By virtue of these relationships, we may share the information you submit in connection with the Co-Branded Services with the third party. The third party’s use of your information will be governed by the third party’s privacy policy.

    To deliver relevant advertisements. The Company and our Service Providers may use the information we collect from and about you to deliver relevant ads to you when you use the Company Services or another service. As noted above, third-party advertising networks and advertisers may use cookies and similar technologies to collect and track information such as demographic information, inferred interests, aggregated information, and activity to assist them in delivering advertising that is more relevant to your interests.     To contact you. The Company may periodically send promotional materials or notifications related to the Company Services. If you want to stop receiving promotional materials, you can either send an email to privacy@crewvie.com or follow the unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email. There are certain service notification emails that you may not opt-out of, such as notifications of changes to the Company Services or policies. If you have installed a mobile app and you wish to stop receiving push notifications, you can change the settings either on your mobile device or through the app.

    To share with our Company Affiliates. The Company may share your information with Company Affiliates for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. Users who visit Company Affiliates’ services should still refer to their separate privacy policies, which may differ in some respects from this Privacy Policy.

    To share with business partners. The Company may share your information with business partners to permit them to send you marketing communications consistent with your choices. We rely on consent (which can be withdrawn at any time) to send marketing communications and for third-party sharing relating to advertising.

    To protect the rights of the Company and others. There may be instances when the Company may use or disclose your information, including situations where the Company has a good faith belief that such use or disclosure is necessary, in order to: (i) protect, enforce, or defend the legal rights, privacy, safety, or property of the Company, our Company Affiliates or their employees, agents and contractors (including enforcement of our agreements and our terms of use); (ii) protect the safety, privacy, and security of users of the Company Services or members of the public; (iii) protect against fraud or for risk management purposes; (iv) comply with the law or legal processes; or (v) respond to requests from public and government authorities.

    To complete a merger or sale of assets. If the Company sells all or part of its business, or makes a sale or transfer of its assets, or is otherwise involved in a merger or transfer of all or a material part of its business (including in connection with a bankruptcy or similar proceedings), the Company may transfer your information to the party or parties involved in the transaction as part of that transaction. Such transactions may be necessary and in legitimate interests.

  5. SECURITY

    The Company uses commercially reasonable administrative, technical, personnel, and physical measures to safeguard information in its possession against loss, theft, and unauthorized use, disclosure, or modification. However, no one can guarantee the complete safety of your information. The Company cannot guarantee the security of our systems or databases, nor can we guarantee that personal information we collect about you will not be breached, intercepted, destroyed, accessed, or otherwise disclosed without authorization. Any information you transfer to or from the Company Services is done at your own risk.

  6. USER ACCESS AND CONTROL

    If you would like to access, review, correct, update, suppress, or otherwise limit our use of your personal information you have previously provided directly to us, you may contact us as outlined in Section 3, or using the mechanisms provided below. In your request, please include your email address, name, address, and telephone number and specify clearly what information you would like to access, change, update, or suppress. We will try to comply with your request as soon as reasonably practicable.

    If you are a California resident, you may request that we not share your personal information on a going-forward basis with Company Affiliates or unaffiliated third parties for their direct marketing purposes by contacting us as outlined in Section 3 and putting “shine the light opt-out” in the subject line and including your full name, email address, and postal address in the body of the email. We will try to comply with your request(s) as soon as reasonably practicable.

  7. YOUR RIGHTS

    The Company seeks to ensure all individuals are provided with the rights mandated by their governing jurisdiction. Not all of the rights discussed in this Privacy Policy will apply to each individual data subject and may not apply to you depending upon your jurisdiction.

    You may benefit from a number of rights in relation to your information that we process. Some rights apply only in certain limited cases, depending on your location. If you would like to manage, change, limit, or delete your personal information, you can do so by contacting us. Upon your request, we will provide you with information about whether we hold any of your personal information. In certain cases where we process your information, you may also have a right to restrict or limit the ways in which we use your personal information. In certain circumstances, you may have the right to request the deletion of your personal information and/or to obtain a copy of your personal information in an easily accessible format.

    European Privacy Rights. To the extent that such rights are mandated by the laws applicable to the individual data subject, such as all data subjects residing in the European Union (“EU”), the following rights may apply: the right to access (GDPR, Article 15); the right to rectification (GDPR, Article16); the right to erasure (GDPR, Article 17); the right to restrict processing (GDPR, Articles 18); the right of object (GDPR, Article 21); and if applicable, the right to data portability (GDPR, Article 20). You may also have a right to lodge a complaint with an appropriate data privacy regulatory authority (GDPR, Article 77).

    If we process your information based on our legitimate interests as explained in this Privacy Policy, or in the public interest, you can object to this processing in certain circumstances. In such cases, we will cease processing your information unless we have compelling legitimate grounds to continue processing or where it is needed for legal reasons.

    Where we use your data for direct marketing purposes, you can always object using the unsubscribe link in such communications or changing your account settings. However, please note you may not opt-out of receiving certain communications related to the Company Services, such as account verifications, communications regarding changes or updates to features of the Company Services, or technical and security notices.

    Where you have provided consent to certain data processing, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time by contacting at: privacy@crewvie.com. A withdrawal of consent will not affect the validity of our use of your personal data up until the point you have withdrawn your consent.

    If you no longer wish to use the Services or receive service-related messages (except for legally required notices), then you may contact us using the information above.

    State Privacy Rights. To the extent state privacy laws apply to The Company and to you, you may have the right to request certain information about our collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information as provided in such laws, for example the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”). These rights may include, but are not limited to, the right to request a copy of information collected about you over the last twelve (12) months, the right to request the deletion of any personal information collected and retained about you subject to certain exceptions, and the right to opt-out of the sale of any information collected about you to third parties. You may submit any such requests to privacy@crewvie.com. The Company will respond to such requests in accordance with applicable laws.

  8. OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION

    Updates to Privacy Policy. The Company may modify this Privacy Policy. Please look at the Effective Date at the top of this Privacy Policy to see when this Privacy Policy was last revised. Any changes to this Privacy Policy will become effective when we post the revised Privacy Policy on the Company Services.

    Location of Data. The Company Services are hosted in and managed from the United States. If you are a user located outside the United States, you understand and consent to having any personal information processed in the United States. United States data protection and other relevant laws may not be the same as those in your jurisdiction. This includes the use of cookies and other tracking technologies as described above. As a result, please read this Privacy Policy with care.

    Linked Services. The Company Services may also be linked to sites operated by unaffiliated companies and may carry advertisements or offer content, functionality, games, newsletters, contests or sweepstakes, or applications developed and maintained by unaffiliated companies. The Company is not responsible for the privacy practices of unaffiliated companies, and once you leave the Company Services or click an advertisement you should check the applicable privacy policy of the other service. In addition, the Company is not responsible for the privacy or data security practices of other organizations, such as Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, Apple, Google, Microsoft or any other app developer, app provider, social media platform provider, operating system provider, wireless service provider, or device manufacturer, including in connection with any information you disclose to other organizations through or in connection with the Company Services.

    Collection of Personal Financial Information by a Payment Service. In some cases, we may use an unaffiliated payment service to allow you to purchase a product or make payments (“Payment Service”). If you wish to purchase a product or make a payment using a Payment Service, you will be directed to a Payment Service webpage. Any information that you provide to a Payment Service will be subject to the applicable Payment Service’s privacy policy, rather than this Privacy Policy. We have no control over, and are not responsible for, any Payment Service’s use of information collected through any Payment Service.

    Data Retention. We will retain your information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required or allowed by law.

    Remember that even after you cancel your account, copies of some information from your account may remain viewable in some circumstances where, for example, you have shared information with social media or other services. Because of the nature of caching technology, your account may not be instantly inaccessible to others. We may also retain backup information related to your account on our servers for some time after cancelation for fraud detection or to comply with applicable law or our internal security policies. It is not always possible to completely remove or delete all of your information due to technical constraints, contractual, financial or legal requirements. Data retention related requests will be handled according to applicable laws and regulations. By choosing to cancel your account, delete your information, or opt-out of the collection and use of your information, you understand that certain features, including, but not limited to, access to the Company Services or certain areas of the Company Services, may no longer be available to you.

    Sensitive Information. We ask that you not send us or disclose any sensitive personal information (such as social security numbers, payment information, medical history and/or treatment information, criminal background, or information related to political opinions, or religious or other beliefs) on or through the Company Services. To use the Company Services, we require your name, email, IMDB, department, job title, language, production city & contact phone. This information is not available to non-registered users. Optional questions include union affiliation, ethnicity, gender identity, and Disability self-identification. We use this information for internal use to improve user experience and this information will not be shared with third parties.
