COLLECTION OF INFORMATION
The purpose of the Company Services is to permit the public display of information collected to facilitate the vetting and hiring of individuals and vendors.
Where we process your information on the basis of consent, we will clearly obtain your opt-in consent. Where given, you may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at email@example.com. Where we process your information on the basis of legitimate interests, we do so where the processing is necessary to provide the function or service requested and in accordance with the stated legitimate interests, unless there is a good reason to protect your personal data which overrides those legitimate interests.
The types of information the Company may collect about you include:
Information You Provide to Us: We process information you provide to us on the legal basis of the Company’s legitimate interest in performing the function or service you requested. You may refuse to supply any of the following information, however, it may prevent you from accessing certain Company Services and features.
You may register for an account. We do not require you to register to use the Company Services, however, if you do register, you will gain access to those areas and features of the Company Services that require registration. The Company will collect certain information about you in connection with your registration, which may include personal data such as information regarding your email address, current location, demographic data, and other information you may provide such as username and password.
If you subscribe to our mailing list or email us, we may keep your message, email address, and contact information to respond to your requests, provide the requested Company Services, and to provide notifications or other correspondences to you. If you supply us with your postal address on-line, you may receive periodic mailings from us with information on new products and services or upcoming events.
You may provide information to us via support requests submitted through the Company Services. We will use this information to assist you with your support request and may maintain this information to assist you or other users with support requests. We may us forms to request certain information from you on the Company Services, such as contact information to assist with contacts or service requests. This information may include personal data.
Public Information and Posts. Public Information and Posts consist of profile information, including, but not limited to, name, city, country, thumbnail, experience, or content and information that you post to the Company Services along with any information that accompanies those posts or content, including information about you.
Public Information and Posts are always public, which means they are available to everyone and may be displayed in search results on external search engines.
Activity Information. When you access and/or interact with the Company Services, the Company and its Service Providers (as defined below) may collect certain information about those visits. For example, in order to permit your connection to the Company Services, our servers may receive and record information about your computer, device, and browser, including potentially your IP address, browser type, and other software or hardware information. If you access the Company Services from a mobile or other device, we may collect a unique device identifier assigned to that device, geolocation data, or other transactional information for that device. We process this information on the basis of our legitimate interests in protecting the Company Services and providing the Company Services to you.

Information from Other Sources. We may supplement the information we collect about you with information from other sources, such as publicly available information from social media services, commercially available sources, and information from our Company Affiliates or business partners.
Do Not Track Signals. At this time we do not respond to browser ‘Do Not Track’ signals sent by web browsers, mobile devices, or other mechanisms. Per industry standards, third parties may be able to collect information, including personal data, about your online activities over time and across different websites or online services when you use the Company Services. USE AND DISCLOSURE
We use the information we collect from and about you to provide the Company Services and features to you, including: to measure and improve those Company Services and features; to improve your experience with both online and off-line Company Services by delivering content you will find relevant and interesting, including advertising and marketing messages; to allow you to comment on content and participate in online games, contests, or rewards programs; to provide you with customer support; and to respond to inquiries.
We generally process personal data received about you through the Company Services on the legal basis of the Company’s legitimate interests where such processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the Company or by our Service Providers (as defined below) related to the Company Services. Where appropriate, we may rely on alternate legal bases, such as your consent to certain types of processing.
The Company will generally use your information in the following circumstances on the legal basis of legitimate interests to provide the Company Services requested:
To allow Service Providers to assist us in providing and managing the Company Services. The Company may make your information available to certain third-party service providers, such as contractors, agents, or sponsors who help us manage or provide the Company Services (collectively, the “Service Providers”). These service providers may not use personal information for any purpose other than the specific service they are providing to you and the Company.
We share personal information with our Service Providers on the legal basis of the Company’s legitimate interests in providing you with the Company Services. Our engagement of Service Providers is often necessary for us to provide the Company Services to you, particularly where such companies play important roles like helping us keep our Company Services operating and secure. In some other cases, these service providers aren’t strictly necessary for us to provide the Company Services, but help us make it better, like by helping us conduct research into how we could better serve our users. To contact you. The Company may periodically send promotional materials or notifications related to the Company Services. There are certain service notification emails that you may not opt-out of, such as notifications of changes to the Company Services or policies. If you have installed a mobile app and you wish to stop receiving push notifications, you can change the settings either on your mobile device or through the app.
To share with business partners. The Company may share your information with business partners to permit them to send you marketing communications consistent with your choices. We rely on consent (which can be withdrawn at any time) to send marketing communications and for third-party sharing relating to advertising.
To complete a merger or sale of assets. If the Company sells all or part of its business, or makes a sale or transfer of its assets, or is otherwise involved in a merger or transfer of all or a material part of its business (including in connection with a bankruptcy or similar proceedings), the Company may transfer your information to the party or parties involved in the transaction as part of that transaction. However, no one can guarantee the complete safety of your information. The Company cannot guarantee the security of our systems or databases, nor can we guarantee that personal information we collect about you will not be breached, intercepted, destroyed, accessed, or otherwise disclosed without authorization. USER ACCESS AND CONTROL
If you would like to access, review, correct, update, suppress, or otherwise limit our use of your personal information you have previously provided directly to us, you may contact us as outlined in Section 3, or using the mechanisms provided below. In your request, please include your email address, name, address, and telephone number and specify clearly what information you would like to access, change, update, or suppress. We will try to comply with your request as soon as reasonably practicable.
If you are a California resident, you may request that we not share your personal information on a going-forward basis with Company Affiliates or unaffiliated third parties for their direct marketing purposes by contacting us as outlined in Section 3 and putting “shine the light opt-out” in the subject line and including your full name, email address, and postal address in the body of the email. We will try to comply with your request(s) as soon as reasonably practicable.
You may benefit from a number of rights in relation to your information that we process. Some rights apply only in certain limited cases, depending on your location. If you would like to manage, change, limit, or delete your personal information, you can do so by contacting us. Upon your request, we will provide you with information about whether we hold any of your personal information. In certain cases where we process your information, you may also have a right to restrict or limit the ways in which we use your personal information. In certain circumstances, you may have the right to request the deletion of your personal information and/or to obtain a copy of your personal information in an easily accessible format.
European Privacy Rights. To the extent that such rights are mandated by the laws applicable to the individual data subject, such as all data subjects residing in the European Union (“EU”), the following rights may apply: the right to access (GDPR, Article 15); the right to rectification (GDPR, Article16); the right to erasure (GDPR, Article 17); the right to restrict processing (GDPR, Articles 18); the right of object (GDPR, Article 21); and if applicable, the right to data portability (GDPR, Article 20). You may also have a right to lodge a complaint with an appropriate data privacy regulatory authority (GDPR, Article 77).
Where we use your data for direct marketing purposes, you can always object using the unsubscribe link in such communications or changing your account settings. However, please note you may not opt-out of receiving certain communications related to the Company Services, such as account verifications, communications regarding changes or updates to features of the Company Services, or technical and security notices.
Where you have provided consent to certain data processing, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time by contacting at: email@example.com. A withdrawal of consent will not affect the validity of our use of your personal data up until the point you have withdrawn your consent.
If you no longer wish to use the Services or receive service-related messages (except for legally required notices), then you may contact us using the information above.
State Privacy Rights. To the extent state privacy laws apply to The Company and to you, you may have the right to request certain information about our collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information as provided in such laws, for example the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”). These rights may include, but are not limited to, the right to request a copy of information collected about you over the last twelve (12) months, the right to request the deletion of any personal information collected and retained about you subject to certain exceptions, and the right to opt-out of the sale of any information collected about you to third parties. OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Remember that even after you cancel your account, copies of some information from your account may remain viewable in some circumstances where, for example, you have shared information with social media or other services. Because of the nature of caching technology, your account may not be instantly inaccessible to others. We may also retain backup information related to your account on our servers for some time after cancelation for fraud detection or to comply with applicable law or our internal security policies. It is not always possible to completely remove or delete all of your information due to technical constraints, contractual, financial or legal requirements. Data retention related requests will be handled according to applicable laws and regulations. By choosing to cancel your account, delete your information, or opt-out of the collection and use of your information, you understand that certain features, including, but not limited to, access to the Company Services or certain areas of the Company Services, may no longer be available to you.
Sensitive Information. We ask that you not send us or disclose any sensitive personal information (such as social security numbers, payment information, medical history and/or treatment information, criminal background, or information related to political opinions, or religious or other beliefs) on or through the Company Services. To use the Company Services, we require your name, email, IMDB, department, job title, language, production city & contact phone. This information is not available to non-registered users. Optional questions include union affiliation, ethnicity, gender identity, and Disability self-identification. We use this information for internal use to improve user experience and this information will not be shared with third parties.
