The Financial Analyst is an integral member of the Network and Studio Production Finance team. This team member will play a key role in providing accurate, and complete financial information while preserving the integrity of the financial records at the company’s periodical financial close.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review contractual agreements to support programming and production obligations
- Support vendor onboarding
- Provide vendor support through the entire settlement
- Work directly with internal partners to help corroborate payments through a review of contractual agreements
- Assist in the preparation of journal entries related to Financial close activities
- Maintain complete and accurate records relating to the company’s obligations to content development and production
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
- 0 - 2 years of accounting/ internship experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; knowledge of pivot tables and basic Excel formulas
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a willingness to work overtime when necessary
