Key WDB Corporate Accounting leadership position focusing on Corporate Accounting and Consolidation functions.  The position requires strong accounting and research skills and making critical decisions on accounting treatment and processes to comply with WBD accounting standards and ensuring that the books and records of the company are maintained in compliance with US GAAP.  

Your Role Accountabilities

  • Lead monthly close process and oversee and review journal entries and adjustments for the corporate accounting function.  

  •  Provide corporate accounting representation in ad hoc projects in the areas of internal and external merger, acquisitions, divestitures, legal entity reorganizations and rationalizations.

  • Lead the recording of intercompany loan arrangements within the Company’s Kyriba treasury management system. 

  • Provide accounting perspective and support on currency related matters, including consultation and review of new entity functional currency determinations. 

Qualifications & Experience

  • CPA Required
  • Approximately 5+ years previous work experience in an accounting environment required.
  • Public and/or private accounting experience required
  • Financial closing, consolidations, reporting and planning experience
  • Strong understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and SOX requirements
  • BS/BA in related discipline from an accredited university 
  • Strong US GAAP accounting knowledge with experience interpreting and implementing technical accounting guidance to non-routine transactions
